*PRICE DROP* SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL PACKAGES – FROM £199+bf

We’d love to get more of you out of your cars, and onto coaches, trains and bicycles!

We know everybody is feeling the pinch, so this year, we’re further discounting our Sustainable Travel Packages to be a whopping £50 cheaper than general entry at every tier – with prices starting at £199 +booking fee.

As ever, you MUST arrive by the specified mode of transport for your Sustainable Travel package to be valid for entry – no ifs, no buts!

Shambala Express Coach packages:

  • Our coaches run from London, Bristol, Birmingham, Brighton, Sheffield or Manchester.
  • All coaches depart on Thursday 21st August, and return on Monday 25th August.
  • Don’t write off the coach if you don’t live in any of these cities as heaps of you will find you have to pass through these cities on the way to site anyway!
  • For 2025, we’re working hard to improve our coach offering, to ensure our coach travellers have an even smoother, slicker experience – we know some of you were waiting too long on the Monday this year, rest assured we’re all over this for 2025.
  • Save money, help us save carbon, beat the queues by turning up to your own dedicated, fast track gate – and stay up later on the Sunday night without any of that drive-home anxiety! More info here!

Rail Traveller packages:

  • Travel by train to one of our 2 local stations (Market Harborough or Long Buckby) where our shuttle buses will scoop you up and ferry you to site.
  • Shuttles run from both stations on both Thursday and Friday.
  • Rail Traveller packages must be booked in conjunction with a shuttle bus ticket (also available on our ticket page). More info here!

Red Fox Guided Bike Rides:

  • Join a Red Fox Guided bike ride from Bristol or London.
  • Stop off at lush campsites along the way and arrive at the festival with a host of new pals.
  • Your tent and luggage will be carried in a support van – and don’t worry, you don’t have to cycle home – book a return journey we’ll get you (and your trusty bike) back to your departure city by coach.
  • Cyclist tickets must be bought in conjunction with a cycling tour (also available on our ticket page). More info here!

*NEW* MONTHLY INSTALMENT PLANS FOR ALL ADULT TICKETS!

We asked you lot what we could be doing to make Shambala more affordable. By far the most popular answer was for payment plans with lower, more frequent monthly payments.

So, for 2025, monthly payment plans are available for every Adult ticket type at every tier.

This means you can secure your Shambala ticket for between £19.90 and £28.90 (dependent on tier) and pay off the rest in 9 monthly chunks. But you have to be quick – you only have until midnight on November 6th to join the plan and put down your initial deposit, as the next instalment is taken on November 7th.

As ever, instalment plans are a non-refundable ticket type, including when fully paid off. See T&Cs for further information.

*NEW* ‘YOUNG ADULT TICKET’ FOR 18-25 YEAR OLDS – £199+bf

If you’ll be aged 18-25 years old by Shambala 2025, this one’s for you but get in there quick, as we have a very limited amount of these available and they are sure to go fast.

This ticket type is also available as a monthly instalment plan – so you can secure your ticket for less than £20 + booking fee.

‘Oi! I’m older than that, this doesn’t seem very fair!’

We created this new ticket type because festival/gig attendance is in decline across the industry for this age group. Some reckon it’s because Covid meant heaps of young people missed out on the ‘rite of passage’ of going to their first festival. Some reckon it’s because this age group are the skintest. We reckon it’s a bit of both. Either way, the festival industry needs to win back the yoof, or we’ll all slowly die out like sad, sparkly dinosaurs..

..but don’t fret if you’re over 25, as our Tier 1 Sustainable Travel packages have dropped to £199+bf too (scroll up to find out more about those).

*PRICE FREEZE* GENERAL ENTRY TICKET PRICES WILL REMAIN THE SAME AS 2024

In addition to our new discounted young adult tickets, and the price drop on our sustainable travel tickets, we’re also freezing 2024 prices on general entry tickets, which will start at £249.

The lower the tier, the cheaper the ticket as a thank you for choosing to book early.

Let’s talk ticket prices: Time for a little transparency – the cost of festival production is continuing to spiral, and it’s becoming harder and harder to make complex, highly creative and fully independent events like Shambala stack up.

This is why the AIF (Association of Independent Festivals) are currently running a campaign, calling for the UK Government to lower VAT on music festival ticket sales from 20% to 5% for a temporary period of three years – but they/we need your help to make our voices heard – read more about this campaign and how you can help, HERE.

We know there are cheaper events out there. We know we don’t book huge A-list acts that you might get at the big boy corporate festivals. But we hope that you know that what we do doesn’t come cheap.

Hundreds of bands and DJs, 40-odd venues, zero brand sponsors, tacky brand activations or corporate overlords, no bans on bringing-your-own-booze into the main arena, entertainment running til 5am, 99% of workshops and activities included in your ticket price, and all the little things you don’t get at many festivals, like free showers in every campsite, pints under £6 and zero corners cut in the name of sustainability.

With this in mind, we hope you can see we’ve done everything we can, this year, to keep things as affordable as possible, for you, our amazing community. We reckon it’s pretty good value for 4 days of entertainment, compared to spending a few ‘dynamically priced’ hours with Liam and Noel, or Taylor…

DON’T FORGET TO PAY IT FORWARD & SHARE THE LOVE!

Whilst we’re talking affordabilty, a little reminder that you can make a donation to our ‘Pay It Forward: Share The Love’ initiative when you’re buying your 2025 tickets. Once we go live, you’ll see a Pay It Forward donation option on the ticket page, where you can donate any amount.

100% of all donations made are used to create full festival access packages (inc tickets, food, drink, accommodation and travel) for folks on low incomes, who would love to attend Shambala but have never been able to, due to financial barriers. We know not everyone is in the position to donate, so no pressure, but if you can even spare a quid, it really adds up.

We’d also like to thank everyone who donated to this initiative, in 2024. You generous souls raised a record breaking £16,896 – meaning we’ll be able to welcome more people than ever, on Pay It Forward access packages in 2025. You absolute DIAMONDS.

Stay tuned for info on when applications will open for these packages – as in 2024, you will need to be in receipt of the government’s Cost of Living payments to apply, and recipients will be chosen via a random ballot, via our partners, Tickets For Good.

A huge thank you once again, if you donated to this cause in 2024 – and please do remember to donate, if you can, whilst booking your Shambala 2025 tickets (or, if you fancy donating right now, you can donate any amount at anytime, via our quick Pay It Forward paypal widgetty thing, right here).

REMEMBER: TICKETS ON SALE AT 1PM ON THURS, 3rd OCTOBER!

Loads of love from Sham HQ! x
