Really chuffed to have taken the Outstanding Achievement award at the Creative Green Awards this week. If only all awards came in the form of a giant cake 🍰.
We were recognised for remaining the only festival to have achieved a 5 star rating creative green rating and for our impact in moving the sustainability agenda forward dramatically within the festival industry – through banning the sale of single use plastics back in 2014, to reducing our carbon footprint by more than 90% over the past 10 years, remaining 100% renewably powered and being meat and fish free since 2016.
