It’s back, its bigger and its more lovelier than ever, with singer Anna Armitage singing your Love Shrine song requests live each evening, and a bigger shrine to hold more people, crafting more, beautiful heartfelt messages.
The Love Shrine is a gorgeous space where you can come to sit with the memory of someone who can’t be with you, whether through distance, time or loss. It’s a place to pause, reflect and connect with those who live on in our hearts. We invite you to write a note, a message, or a memory and tie it to a ribbon, letting it drift with your thoughts and love.
On the final day of the festival, we’ll carefully take the messages and place them in a willow basket. It will be placed in the fire in the Healing Field, where the messages will be released into the universe, sent on the wind, carrying your love to those elsewhere.
As you spend time at the Love Shrine, you’ll be accompanied by the soulful voice of Anna Armitage, who will sing the songs you request, songs that remind you of those you love who can’t be there… for whatever reason. The power of music to spark joyful memories is undeniable. The Love Shrine’s the place to sit with those memories.
