Born and bred in Bristol City, Tenway keenly follows the darker side of soundsystem culture. Tenway started his production journey making US rap and drill tracks at 15 years old, but quickly discovered the UK bass music scene.
After shifting his vision to DNB for a few years, he finally found his footing with Dub music and subsequently Dubstep.
The sounds of early Dubstep, Dub and Grime music have tailored his production styles and shape the musical journey of his sets. Playing at key influential Bristol venues such as Lakota, Lost Horizon and Crofters Rights, it’s clear to see that Tenway knows how to get the dance rattling. Taking influence from the likes of Khan, Dismantle and Sir Spyro expect pounding drums, chunky breaks and thumping basslines.
