Tsikuri – God’s Eye Weaving

The God’s Eye is a spiritual object found in Mexican, Peruvian, and Latin American communities.

The Huichol or Wixaritari call their God’s Eyes Tsikuri, which means “the power to see and understand things unknown.”
The symbol of the god’s eyes is primarily associated with prayers for our children – prayers for a good long life, protection and to insure abundant crops.

Come along and learn the craft and take away a rememberable discussion and decoration… learning about the sacred roots of the meditative action of weaving colourful yarn through a wooden criss cross.
