Annwn is the Celtic otherworld. Sgwd is a word local only to a magical land on the south edge of Bannau Brycheiniog, Cymru meaning waterfalls and is only used in the land of waterfalls.
This is a land brimming with folklore and fae where the trees want to engage in conversations and the rivers have songs to share.
In this workshop, carried by immersive soundscapes, journeying, and storytelling, we’ll seek out our indigenous roots and explore how to listen to country here in the UK where the lands have long thought it safer to be quiet.
