Shambala 2009 will be at a top secret site in Northamptonshire. Detailed information and directions will be provided with ticket purchase only.
Please consider how you travel to the event. Over 80% of our environmental impact is due to travel to and from the festival. Sharing cars, using the coaches or even cycling to the event will massively reduce this!

Vehcile Passes:You need one vehicle pass per vehicle. Live-in passes are for the Vehicle Campinng field only, and are for converted vehicles being slept in. Cars will not be allowed in this field, with the exception of cars dropping off caravans.
Offsetting your C02 when buying tickets: Your voluntary travel CO2 payments are worked out based on your return journey length, and can be paid for during your ticket purchase. 100% of payments will go to a charitiy chosen by you, following a website vote after the event. The community will choose from a choice of well-researched charities and NGO's working on reforestation, sustainable farming, education, and carbon reduction initiatives. A full rationale can be found HERE
We will be offsetting the carbon footprint of the event itself on your behalf. It is expected that our contribution will be in the region of £2500 and will be based on this years carbon audit.
A subsidised coach service from various locations around the UK, running on both Thursday and Friday this year! This is one of the most cost effective (£12- £25 return!) and lowest environmental impact modes of transport you could choose. We charge for car parking passes to subsidise the scheme. On The Shambala Express, the festival begins as soon as you board, with Shambala movies, BIG prize Bingo! and a Shambala soundtrack...
